They won the match 32–14 thanks to crosses by Rhiannon Bonner, Paige Attard, Lucynnah Luamanu-Leiataua, Alavina Tu’ifua, Ellie Barnett, Kealii–Jordan Muru, and Sakari Richie.

The Tigers team, captained by halfback and skipper Ellie Barnett, features players who will likely be future NRLW stars, including hooker Paige Attand, fullback Rhiannon Bonner, and second rowers Lucynnah Luamanu-Leiataua and Annelise Hall.

After defeating the Newcastle Knights at Henson Park, they will take on the unbeaten Canterbury Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs, who were ranked first for the whole Lisa Fiaola Cup season, struck quickly, scoring three tries in 13 minutes with Asha Taumoepeau-Williams, Kiana Vatubua, and Aliahana Fuimaono.

The final score was 22-4 after they allowed only one try to be scored by the Knights and scored two more tries from Seriah Palepale and Evelyn Roberts.

The Bulldogs, led by halfback and captain Olivia Vaalele, have future NRLW prospects including lock Trinity Tauaneai, five-eighth Evelyn Roberts, and props Seriah Palepale and Heilala Fifita.
