Discussing his reasons for including UConn in his final three, Mullins highlighted his strong connection with the coaching staff, the Huskies’ recent back-to-back NCAA championships, and their high-intensity, defense-focused playing style. UConn, known for its competitive spirit, offers the kind of winning culture Mullins is eager to join, as he feels he can seamlessly fit into their system.

In addition to UConn, Mullins shared that Indiana’s proximity to his hometown and coach Mike Woodson’s reputation for player development are key factors influencing his decision.
