An SEC school extends an offer to a linebacker from Illinois, giving him his first chance to play in the Power Four.
Jack Paris, a junior linebacker for Oak Park (Illinois) Fenwick, received an offer from Vanderbilt this past weekend. For the 6-foot-3, 210-pound Paris, that is his first opportunity to play in the Power Four and SEC.
“I was drawn to Vanderbilt right away because the coaches there spoke so highly of the school’s culture and traditions,” he remarked. “In addition to the university’s excellent academic reputation, there is also its culture. Of course, Nashville is in a fantastic location.
