After five years of using SeatGeek’s ticketing platform, Sheffield United, an English Premier League team, has renewed its collaboration with the company.
SeatGeek, Sheffield’s main ticketing technology partner, has collaborated with the team to enhance the entire matchday experience, facilitating expedited entry to Bramall Lane, the team’s home pitch.
Sheffield United’s head of commercial Paul Reeves stated, “Our ability to engage with our supporters in meaningful ways has been made possible by SeatGeek’s advanced technology and dedication to enhancing the fan experience.”
“We are thrilled to extend our collaboration and keep providing our fans with cutting-edge ticketing options.”
Other Premier League teams Newcastle United, Manchester City, and Liverpool also use SeatGeek. Furthermore, SeatGeek maintains affiliations with numerous English Championship teams, such as Middlesborough, Stoke City, Leeds United, Ipswich Town, and Leicester City.
On the other side of the Atlantic, SeatGeek is the official ticket partner of several teams in the United Soccer League (USL), the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), and Major League Soccer (MLS).
“We’re excited to build on the foundation we’ve created with Sheffield United over the past five years,” stated Peter Joyce, general director of SeatGeek’s EMEA division. Our aim is to consistently explore the limits of ticketing technology, enabling supporters to have easy access to their favorite clubs. We’re establishing new standards for Premier League fan interaction and operational effectiveness in tandem with Sheffield United.
Rangers, a team in the Scottish Premiership, announced earlier this month that SeatGeek would be their main ticket partner.
