Rico Patterson, a midfielder for Birmingham City, has concluded his loan assignment to Rushall Olympic of the National League North, the Blues’ official website revealed.
Birmingham City is one of the most successful youth programs in the EFL, and several of its prospects have made it into the St. Andrew’s first squad. Others who saw action in the younger ranks have attempted to get experience on loan.

The young player’s contract with the Blues is about to expire, thus the move is timely. He has the chance to show the Championship club that he possesses the skills necessary to succeed at the senior level.

In addition, he might have the opportunity to attract the attention of suitors if he were to leave St. Andrew’s this summer.

Although Patterson is versatile in midfield, he typically plays as a no. 8 in the center of the field. He is also capable of playing as an offensive midfielder or out on the wings.
