In search of a fresh experience, Ethan Mbappe sent PSG a sincere message of gratitude.
Young player for Paris Saint-Germain Ethan Mbappe stated on social media that he will be leaving the team as a free agent, sharing an emotional statement.

The seventeen-year-old made his senior team debut in December 2023 as a sixteen-year-old after agreeing to a three-year contract with the club in 2021. The superstar Kylian Mbappe’s younger brother is the midfield player.

The teenager was expected to sign a contract with LOSC Lille, a Ligue 1 competitor, this summer, but it appears the deal is now off the table, leaving the player to hunt for another club. Along with Borussia Dortmund and Ajax, QPR was one of the teams reportedly considering a deal for the midfielder, according to a previous report from Le Parisien.

According to Le Parisien, “Other prospects abroad have also materialized with concrete interest in Ethan Mbappe, including Queens Park Rangers, Ajax, and Borussia Dortmund.”

Mbappe posted the following on Instagram on Tuesday: “I came to you with eyes full of dreams, with my childhood love and support since birth.” After over seven years, I still have no doubts that we would go on an experience like this together.

“It was the start of seven years filled with red and blue in both my daily life and my heart. I’ve met folks for seven years who have completely altered me. Seven years of precious memories, both in sports and personally.

“You have provided me with the finest foundation to grow into the person and player that I aspire to be, from my early lack of experience to my initial professional steps.

“For everything that you have given me, for all the amazing people that I have crossed and for how you have helped me grow, in the name of the love I hold, I say thank you and goodbye.”

Unlike his well-known brother, Mbappe is more often used in central midfield, where his influence extends farther back on the field. The player frequently played for PSG’s under-19 squad last season, making 35 appearances across all competitions.

This summer, QPR is rumored to be looking for a defensive midfield player. Towards the close of the previous season, Marti Cifuentes brought in Isaac Hayden, a player for Newcastle United, on a short-term loan; however, Hayden has since returned to the North East.
