AC MILAN SURPRISE STAR: “ON THE WISHLIST” OF REAL MADRID

A defensive player from AC Milan is a top summer target for the powerful people at La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid.

That’s according to Sport Bild, which offered some context for the scenario on Wednesday.

It’s said that Malick Thiaw is the player with his sights set on the Real brass.
For his part, Thiaw has been playing in Italy for the past two seasons after being acquired from Schalke by the previously mentioned Milan.

From his position at the center of defense, the 22-year-old has gone on to establish himself as a valuable player of the Rossoneri’s squad during this period.

In addition to being a formidable stopper, Thiaw has a great passing range.

These skills have resulted in three caps for the senior German national team and, as previously mentioned, interest from some of the best teams on the continent.

According to German publication Bild:

Real Madrid signed German international Malick Thiaw (22) from AC Milan in an effort to bolster their defense.

Such rumors come as a bit of a surprise, as Real Madrid is generally predicted to bolster their central defense options this summer by acquiring Leny Yoro, the sensation from LOSC Lille.

Furthermore, a lot of Milan supporters would probably contend that Thiaw’s performance in his second season with the team hasn’t quite lived up to that of his first.

The stopper has, however, once again “put himself on the wishlist” of the La Liga leaders.
