According to PFF, it is suggested that the Bengals should actively seek a prominent tight end in the upcoming free agency period.

The Bengals entered the 2023 season with uncertainties surrounding their tight end group. Travis Hudson and Drew Sample performed well, but Irv Smith Jr. disappointed. In the AFC playoff mix, teams like the Chiefs (Travis Kelce), Bills (Dawson Knox/Dalton Kincaid), Ravens (Mark Andrews), and Texans (Dalton Schultz) boast notable tight ends.

Gordon McGuinness of PFF suggests that the Bengals should address this by acquiring a talented tight end in free agency, and Schultz emerges as a fitting option. With Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd possibly departing, young receivers Andrei Iosivas and Charlie Jones could step up. However, adding a skilled receiving tight end, such as Schultz, could enhance their effectiveness in the middle of the field. Schultz demonstrated reliability for the Texans, earning a 72.2 PFF receiving grade in the wild-card round.

The proposal is for Schultz to join the Bengals, providing a valuable asset for a potential bounce-back season with Burrow leading the team. Bengals fans are invited to share their thoughts on pursuing Dalton Schultz in the comments section.
