With over 300 prospects conducting interviews with NFL teams, practicing drills, and participating in media sessions over the next five days, the NFL Combine has officially begun.

Among them is Braelon Allen, the former standout running back for the Wisconsin Badgers, who provided important details regarding the NFL Draft process during his Friday media availability.

Allen decided to skip his last year of college eligibility at Wisconsin in the hopes of being selected early in the April NFL selection, making him one of the youngest players available in the 2024 selection.

While he gets ready to test on Saturday using a range of measurements and workouts, Allen spoke with the media on Friday, sharing his worries, interested teams, and much more.

One of the most important details from Allen’s interview was that, following their internet connection, he spoke with NFL running back Derrick Henry during the offseason.

Furthermore, Allen downplayed the importance of injuries and pass protection issues, two major areas of improvement for him this season, pointing to his versatility as a back who can catch passes out of the backfield.

Given the amount of suitors interested at the combine, the running back is now expected to test well enough to advance to the third round, though it is currently unknown where.
