Quarterback Kellen Mond, although not among this year’s draft prospects, is scheduled to participate in a workout at the 49ers’ facility on Wednesday, as reported by Matt Barrows of TheAthletic.com. Mond will join other local prospects for San Francisco’s Pro Day.

Previously drafted by the Vikings in the third round of the 2021 draft, Mond had limited playtime, completing 2-of-3 passes for five yards. However, he didn’t secure a spot on the team for the following year.

In 2022, he was with the Browns but didn’t see any playing time, and last year, he was part of the Colts’ practice squad. Currently, the 49ers’ quarterback depth chart lists Brock Purdy as the starter, with Joshua Dobbs and Brandon Allen as backups.
