Following the Spanish Grand Prix, feelings between Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc erupted over a small on-track altercation during the Barcelona race.
Concerns about tension between Ferrari drivers following their public criticism of one another by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz left Frederic Vasseur unmoved.
Following the Spanish Grand Prix, the Ferrari drivers were not happy with one another’s behavior. They exchanged words during the race when Sainz passed Leclerc, and the latter, not pleased with the overtake, expressed his displeasure to media.
As a result of the battle with his teammate, he finished half a second behind George Russell. “We discussed before the race that it was the part of the race where we both had to manage tyres as much as possible,” he stated. I turned 14 because we all know how much it’s worth, but it seems like Carlos wasn’t in the final corner and he took use of the situation to pass.
