Atlanta United Academy’s U-15 team continues its impressive MLS NEXT Cup Playoff journey and is gearing up to face LA Galaxy in the semi-finals on Thursday, June 20. The match will kick off in Nashville, Tenn. at 5:00 p.m. ET, and fans can support the U-15 squad by tuning in on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

Atlanta’s path to the semi-finals included a thrilling quarterfinal clash against FC Dallas on Tuesday, where ATL UTD secured a dramatic equalizer in the final seconds to tie the game 2-2 before advancing with a 4-2 victory in the penalty shootout. Goalkeeper James Donaldson’s crucial save in the shootout set the stage for Atlanta’s triumph.

The U-15 team started their playoff campaign strongly, beginning with a 5-3 win over New York Red Bulls in the Round of 32, followed by a commanding 3-0 victory over Sacramento Republic FC in the Round of 16. Atlanta is currently tied with FC Cincinnati for the highest goal-scoring record in the U-15 age group, with both teams having scored 10 goals over three rounds.
