The youthful roster of Leeds United is sure to draw interest from other teams.

Leeds’ young players have been the mainstay of their success this season; on Tuesday, 22-year-old Crysencio Summerville won the POTS award in the Championship, while Archie Gray took home the YPOTS title in the league. These days, they are both incredibly valuable.

Alongside Summerville, other young players Ethan Ampadu and Georginio Rutter were selected in the division’s TOTS, demonstrating the genuine potential that Leeds possesses.

Regretfully, though, some of the largest teams in Europe have already begun to make their way around. Leeds would also be more likely to sell if they were to lose out on promotion.

Leeds published their financial statements last week, and although Phil Hay has stated that they adhere to PSR, it is also evident that significant player sales will be necessary if they are to stay in the Championship.

Summerville had already been linked to newly crowned Bundesliga winners Bayer Leverkusen before of the summer, and it now seems like Bayern Munich is also considering one of Leeds’ players.

This summer may mark a rebuilding for Bayern, who will not be named the best team in Germany for the first time since the 2011–12 campaign.

Following a brilliant breakthrough season at Elland Road, Florian Plettenberg claims that Bayern are now “monitoring” Leeds starlet Gray.

Nevertheless, the journalist from Sky in Germany did imply that he is not Bayern’s top priority right now, so Leeds can relax a little knowing a possible deal is not about to happen.

Although clubs will still be hovering, Gray only signed a new long-term contract with Leeds in January that runs through 2028, so the Whites are well covered in that aspect.

comrade German side Borussia Dortmund, along with Manchester United and Liverpool, have been mentioned, as has Jude Bellingham’s former home.

Leeds might already be looking to extend an offer to Gray.
As previously indicated, Gray genuinely only signed a new contract a few months ago, but Leeds is considering giving him another one.

Additionally, it’s believed that Gray would not be open to playing for another English team at this time, which may be advantageous for Bayern or Dortmund.

However, Gray has expressed in the past that he wants to win the Champions League at Leeds, and he would be unable to accomplish that by departing so soon.

The 18-year-old should remain at his boyhood club for the long run, but it must be tempting for some of the clubs that are interested in him.
