Wednesday in Sheffield, According to a TEAMtalk story, Peterborough United and Bolton Wanderers are both contemplating deals for Ravel Morrison.

Ravel Morrison is reportedly being considered by Peterborough United, Sheffield Wednesday, and Bolton Wanderers, according to a TEAMtalk report.
Last season, Peterborough United, Bolton Wanderers, and Sheffield Wednesday fought it out for promotion from League One. The Trotters and Posh are engaged in another conflict in the ongoing campaign, but in the end, it was only the Owls who emerged victorious.

Now that the transfer window has ended, EFL clubs can still add players from the free agent market. And now rumors have it that Ravel Morrison is the target of all three of the previously listed individuals.

After leaving MLS team D.C. United for the winter, TEAMtalk reports that Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers, and Peterborough United are all contemplating the 31-year-old. Morrison’s professional ups and downs are widely known, and following his tenure in the United States, he was able to return to England.

In his last stint in England, attacking midfielder Morrison managed five goals and four assists in 38 games for Derby County.Morrison appears to have a serious chance of returning to the EFL, but only time will tell if he ends up playing for Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers, or Peterborough United. To be honest, a switch to the latter looks improbable.

Morrison’s pay is probably not going to be low, so it might come as a surprise if Posh makes an investment, even if it’s just a short-term one for a free agent, given their strong emphasis on acquiring young players with future potential.

Bolton and Wednesday are perhaps more realistic choices, although it’s unclear if the connections will lead anywhere. Morrison showed at Derby County that he is still capable of having a significant impact at the Championship level, but it will be interesting to see what he has to offer more than a year and a half after leaving Pride Park.
