Jack Clarke, a star for Sunderland, has drawn interest from West Ham United ahead of the summer transfer window, and he may depart this summer.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has stated that West Ham United may show interest in Sunderland player Jack Clarke, who could depart this summer. It is believed that Southampton and Crystal Palace would compete with the Hammers for the English wide player, who the Black Cats may sell at the end of the current campaign.

Clarke’s Outstanding Performance In The EFL Championship After a string of standout performances on the left side of Sunderland’s attack, Clarke is enjoying a respectable season at the Stadium of Light. In 35 appearances for the English team this season in several tournaments, the 23-year-old has 15 goals and four assists.
In the final third, the English player has proven to be a consistent performer. In the EFL Championship, he is averaging 1.6 tackles, 2.8 shoots, 2.3 critical passes, and 3.7 dribbles per ninety minutes. Based on his pass success percentage of 77.6% in the English second division (data via whoscored), he has even distributed the ball fairly well.

In order to sign Clarke later this year, West Ham would need to submit a strong offer because his current contract with Sunderland expires in the summer of 2026.
Is Clarke a Target for West Ham United this summer?

When the ball is at his feet, Clarke can dribble it rather well and loves to make tackles in the opposition’s half. He has the eye to make a couple key passes on the offensive end of the field and can shoot the ball with venom from a long distance.

The English wing wizard can play on either flank when instructed to do so, although his primary position is as a wide player on the left. Though the talented winger is now enjoying his football at Sunderland, it is unclear if he will be able to continue his current level of play in the Premier League.

There is no denying that Clarke would improve West Ham’s midfield unit. In the upcoming seasons, he is talented enough to compete for a regular starting position at London Stadium. It would be prudent for the Hammers to pursue him during the summer transfer window.

At 23, Clarke still has a lot of excellent years ahead of him, which will ultimately suit West Ham’s demands.
