The San Francisco 49ers signed a recently released All-Pro linebacker from the Green Bay Packers to aid with an injury that might not heal in time for the 2024 season, therefore the player will not be eligible to be retained for next season.

At thirty, Campbell will offer seasoned expertise to a club hoping to make it back to the Super Bowl. In his eight years in the NFL, he has amassed 779 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and seven interceptions. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2021.

In the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Campbell was selected by the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the 2020 Arizona Cardinals before deciding to sign with the Packers in time for the 2021 campaign.
