The person appointed to oversee Sunday’s matchup will be revealed by the Scottish Football Association.

Bobby Madden, a former top referee, has reduced the field of applicants to just four to oversee Sunday’s massive Old Firm match at Ibrox.

On his Instagram page, Madden put up a poll asking followers to guess who they believe will be given the difficult responsibility of managing the match between bitter rivals Rangers and Celtic, which has the potential to determine the outcome of the Scottish Premiership title race this season.

Don Robertson and Nick Walsh, who had both managed the first two derbies this season, were both excluded by him. John Beaton, Kevin Clancy, Willie Collum, or Steven McLean are the remaining options. When the Scottish Football Association announces their most recent round of referee appointments today, the decision will be made public. “Internet will break no matter who is announced at around 10.30am,” Madden continued. John Beaton had 43% of the vote as of the time of publication, easily leading Willie Collum (22%), Kevin Clancy (21%), and Steven McLean (14%), in that order.
