But the offensive coaching staff of the Packers also underwent some changes a few years ago. Luke Getsy, a former quarterbacks coach, signed on to be the offensive coordinator for the Bears, while former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett became the head coach of the Denver Broncos. Getsy started a new job out west today.

Getsy served as the Bears’ offensive coordinator for the previous two seasons prior to his dismissal. Chicago finished in the lower half of the NFL in both total yards and scoring during each of Getsy’s seasons leading the offense, and quarterback Justin Fields was criticized for his lack of progress.

Getsy did, however, teach the Green Bay quarterbacks from 2019 to 2022 before that. During that time, Aaron Rodgers earned back-to-back MVP awards, and the Packers won 13 games in three consecutive seasons. It will be intriguing to watch the offensive scheme that Luke Getsy runs in Las Vegas.
