BREAKING NEWS: In the latest mock draft on NFL.com by Bucky Brooks, the Cincinnati Bengals opt for LSU Wide Receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

CINCINNATI — Embracing another LSU talent as a Bengal? NFL Network’s Bucky Brooks has unveiled his initial 2024 NFL mock draft on NFL.com, predicting the Bengals to choose LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Thomas, standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 205 pounds, showcased his skills with 68 receptions for 1,177 yards and 17 touchdowns in the previous season.

“With the potential departure of Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd in free agency, the Bengals might prioritize an offensive weapon early in the draft,” Brooks suggested. “Thomas brings athleticism, size, and impressive ball skills, making him a promising WR2 alongside Ja’Marr Chase.”

Presently, Thomas holds the 23rd overall position on the consensus big board and is ranked fifth among wide receivers.
