Even now, Patrick Beverley is criticizing his former head coach.

On Friday, Beverley and the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-107, holding off a late comeback. Chris Finch, the head coach of the Timberwolves, reportedly left the court after the final buzzer went off without addressing Beverley, his former player in Minnesota.

A few hours later, Beverley mockingly called Finch a “sore loser” on X, showing his disdain for him.

Beverley added, “coach finch walks off don’t even say a word,” with an emoji that looked like laughter. “A bitter loser. Belt 2 A$$.
For one season in 2021–2022, Beverley—a former member of the All-Defensive Team—played under Finch in Minnesota. All of that year, including their playoff run that made for a meme, Finch was Beverley’s starter, and it seemed like the two got along well.

However, Beverley is becoming more and more of a believer in the “me and against the world” philosophy. Beverley is currently at odds with front office personnel and retired players alike. His former coach Finch has now also been added to the list.
