The 21-year-old has quickly adapted and found success in Austria.

Sturm Graz is highly impressed with Arsenal striker Mika Biereth’s performance during his loan spell and is keen on securing him permanently this summer.

Biereth, who joined Sturm Graz in January following a premature end to his loan stint at Motherwell, has made an immediate impact in Austria, netting two goals in his first four appearances.

Despite the absence of an option-to-buy clause in their loan agreement, Sturm Graz remains hopeful of retaining the promising striker.

Sporting director Andreas Schicker expressed satisfaction with Biereth’s seamless integration into the team, highlighting his adaptability despite arriving late to the training camp.

While Arsenal opted against including a buyout option, Sturm Graz intends to explore the possibility of extending Biereth’s stay beyond the current season.

Biereth’s previous experiences with Arsenal’s youth setup and loan spells in the Netherlands and Scotland caught Sturm Graz’s attention, and his signing swiftly followed the injury to their striker Seedy Jatta in January.

Schicker emphasized the club’s delight in securing Biereth’s services and expressed optimism about his future contributions.
