BREAKING NEWS: Toronto Raptors Coach Issues a forceful statement on Steph Curry

Not only is Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors one of the greatest players in NBA history, but he is also one of the most significant. When discussing Curry’s position among all-time greats, this is a topic that comes up frequently. Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic made a strong comment regarding Curry’s influence on the game.

“He would be at the top of the list,” Rajakovic stated about Curry before the Warriors game on Friday night. “I believe that Michael Jordan revolutionized basketball. The player at the top of that list, though, is Steph Curry. Simply put, you did not have a guard that big, that skilled, and that long of a shooting range that could have altered the game so drastically. Of course, you’ve had some extremely gifted players in the past, but not to the extent that this man fundamentally altered the nature of the league.”

This is what the head coach of the Raptors, who thinks that Curry transformed the game of basketball more than anybody else, had to say about the great player from the Warriors, and it’s hard to argue with. NBA basketball is played quite differently now than it was prior to Curry’s ascent, and this is largely because of the way he transformed offense, shooting, spacing, and other aspects of the game.
