BREAKING NEWS: Two homes catch fire in Parkland area; one person dies.

Louisville, Kentucky — A person died in a fire that broke out overnight in the Parkland neighborhood. Crews from the Louisville Fire Department said they were summoned around 4:19 a.m. Thursday to reports of a house fire.
When they arrived, they discovered considerable flames coming from the front porch and sides, which was spreading to a neighboring property. According to LFD, one person was taken from the main fire but died in the hospital. Fire authorities stated it took 25 minutes and 28 firemen to bring the fire under control.
Arson investigators are attempting to determine the cause.
