BREAKING NEWS: Warriors’ Stephen Curry Is Only Willing To Play For Steve Kerr as Coach: “Hell no.”

Because he doesn’t want to play for another head coach, NBA star Stephen Curry is pleased that the Golden State Warriors inked Steve Kerr to a contract extension.

With the two-year, $35 million contract that the Warriors signed him to, Kerr became the highest-paid coach in NBA history.

This season’s deal was supposed to expire for Kerr. He is signed through the 2025–2026 season at a rate of $17.5 million each season. With the agreement, he will be in line for Curry’s remaining two years under contract.
Curry remarked, “That’s the same (years) as my contract.” “I only became aware of it.”

2014 saw Kerr join the Warriors. The Dubs have been in six NBA Finals and taken home four titles since then.

Under Kerr, Curry has won one MVP of the Finals and two MVPs of the regular season.
“Our story is similar to a few player-coach and trio-coach stories in league history,” Curry remarked. “And it’s not by coincidence either. He’s been there for us so reliably. Not just the Xs and Os, but also handling the highs and lows—mostly the highs—that we have experienced. People believe it’s simple. However, success also brings expectations. In the 2015–16 regular season, Kerr led the Warriors to their most victories ever—73—under his coaching with Luke Walton’s assistance. Curry and Kerr are close, with Curry being the all-time great shooter.

Naturally, Curry noted, “people talk about him having a blessed roster coming in, which he did.” That does not imply that the fit was intended to be effective.
