The Wisconsin Badgers football team is starting to stand out in the 2025 recruiting cycle, even if it’s still very early.

The addition of Cincinnati, Ohio’s Jaimier Scott, a four-star defensive back who is anticipated to start his Wisconsin Badgers career as a safety, has given the composite rankings their most recent lift.

Along with offensive lineman Michael Roeske, defensive back Remington Moss, inside linebacker Cooper Catalano, quarterback Landyn Locke, and safety Cody Haddad, Scott becomes the sixth member of Wisconsin’s expanding 2025 class.

Wisconsin football has soared into the top 10 for the 2025 recruiting class rankings with Scott joining the team. The Badgers are ranked ninth in the nation by the industry-generated composite.

Wisconsin football makes it into the top ten rankings for the recruiting class.

The football program’s recruiting efforts took a nosedive near the conclusion of the Paul Chryst era, but Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers staff have helped turn things around.

They are well on their way to replicating their 2024 efforts, which included assembling a top 25 class, in 2025.

Currently trailing only Penn State, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Auburn, Oklahoma, LSU, and Notre Dame, the Wisconsin Badgers football team is off to an impressive start. However, these rankings are susceptible to change as additional teams complete their recruiting classes.

It’s important to note that all of those schools have committed either the same number of players or a significant number more than Wisconsin football does right now, which speaks highly of the caliber of incoming prospects.
