Tiger Woods, who is recovering gradually from a leg injury sustained in an automobile accident almost three years ago, hopes to play in one PGA Tour tournament every month in 2024. He has been waiting more than four years for a Tour victory. Woods is still optimistic about winning on the PGA Tour after his recent appearance at the PNC Championship with his son Charlie, where Bernhard Langer and his son Jason emerged victorious. He does concede that “putting it all together” across 72 holes is a difficult task.

Woods, who sustained a leg injury in an automobile accident in 2021, stressed that he can still perform well provided he practices and prepares well. Even though his limb isn’t completely healed to compete consistently, Woods showcased his skills at the PNC Championship, where he and his son secured a fifth-place finish. The last PGA Tour victory for Woods was at the 2019 Zozo Championship in Japan.

Reflecting on the challenging journey back to competitive golf, Woods mentioned the difficulties he faced and the significance of regular practice. During the PNC Championship, he was permitted to use a golf cart, a privilege not allowed on the PGA Tour, making the competition more manageable. Despite various physical challenges, Woods expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play and for the support of his children, including having his 16-year-old daughter Sam as a caddy during the event.

Woods remains determined to overcome physical hurdles and regain his competitive edge, expressing pride in sharing special experiences with his children on the golf course.
