Bristol city hold long-term interest in 24 year old Birmingham city striker target

Bristol City reportedly considered signing the striker in the last January transfer window but ultimately, nothing came to fruition, and he remained in Scotland.

Miovski, 24, has been a crucial player for Aberdeen since joining in 2022, scoring 44 goals in 94 games across all competitions, including 26 last season. The Scottish Sun reports that League One side Birmingham City and Serie A’s Bologna are interested in him this summer.

According to BristolLive, the Robins have also been monitoring his performance in the Scottish Premiership. However, his price tag may be too steep for Liam Manning’s team at the moment as they look to bolster their squad.

Miovski has been prolific for Aberdeen, and they will be reluctant to lose him in the coming months.

He would be an excellent addition for Bristol City if they decide to pursue their interest and make a move for him.

The North Macedonia international, with 22 caps, is under contract at Pittodrie until 2026, allowing the Dons to hold out for a suitable offer if they consider selling him.

Miovski previously played in his native country for Bregalnica Štip, FК Rabotnichki, FK Makedonija G.P., and KF Renova before joining MTK Budapest in 2020, where he scored 19 goals in 60 matches before Aberdeen took a chance on him.

Bristol City must ensure they get their recruitment right to compete in the top half of the table.

With the transfer window now open, they have the opportunity to bring in new players.

The Robins appointed former MK Dons and Oxford United manager Liam Manning last season, and he will be looking to enhance his squad with more quality.

Miovski would be a suitable addition for Bristol City, but they would need to spend a significant amount to bring him to Ashton Gate.
