Canadian rap superstar Drake has placed a bet of $500,000 on the Edmonton Oilers to clinch the Stanley Cup.
Drake gambled on the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA title in addition to the NHL. If all two wagers win, Drake could receive a huge payment of $2.4 million.
Drake has a reputation for regularly posting on Instagram about his significant betting activities. His recent betting record has shown mixed fortunes.
He wagered $700,000 that Sean Strickland would defeat Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 in Toronto, however he lost the wager.
But he bounced back a month later, winning about $1.2 million from his Super Bowl wager on the Kansas City Chiefs.
But fewer than three weeks have passed since Drake’s last wager, which was on Tyson Fury over Oleksandr Usyk, which cost him dearly.
Fans and bettors alike are eagerly awaiting the start of the Stanley Cup final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday in Sunrise, Florida.
