Ipswich Town
Captain Maria Boswell is enthusiastic about fans seeing team play at Portman Road for the first time, as she represents the Ipswich Town Women.
Prior to their inaugural league match at Portman Road, Maria Boswell, the captain of Ipswich Town Women, has stated that it’s an excellent opportunity for the public to witness the team.
On Saturday afternoon, the fifth-placed Blues will play Chatham Town, who are currently ranked second out of the twelve teams in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division. This is a highly anticipated matchup.
In front of almost 8,500 spectators, defender Boswell will lead the team out for the momentous occasion rather than at their customary home venue, Felixstowe & Walton’s AGL Arena.
The 21-year-old stated: “I think it can be challenging for people to come watch us on a Sunday because our home field is 25 minutes outside of Ipswich.
