Chelsea is actively scouting potential attacking reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window. While Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap remains their primary target, the club is also exploring alternative options. Among the names on their radar is Fiorentina’s Moise Kean, who has been enjoying an impressive season in Serie A.
Reports indicate that Chelsea is closely monitoring Kean’s performances, with a possible move in the works. The Italian striker has a release clause of €52 million (approximately £43 million), making him a significant investment. However, Chelsea is not alone in their pursuit—Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa are also interested, creating a competitive race for his signature.
Kean’s resurgence at Fiorentina has caught the attention of many, especially after his underwhelming spell in the Premier League with Everton. The 25-year-old forward has found his form, netting 20 goals in 34 appearances this season, with 15 of those goals coming in Serie A. His performances under Fiorentina’s coach, Raffaele Palladino, have demonstrated his growth and ability to lead the line effectively.
If Chelsea fails to secure either Kean or Delap, they may turn their attention to another high-profile option—Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in excellent form, scoring 26 goals in 30 matches. However, Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Osimhen could pose a challenge for Chelsea’s ambitions.
A potential return to the Premier League would offer Kean a chance to redeem himself after his difficult stint at Everton, where he managed only two goals in 32 league appearances. Now, with more experience and confidence, he could thrive under Chelsea’s new management. As the transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Stamford Bridge to see which striker ultimately dons the blue jersey.
