However, there’s a silver lining amidst the disappointment. The lower draft position may increase the likelihood of the Grizzlies engaging in significant trade discussions during the upcoming offseason. Drew Hill of the Daily Memphian hinted at this possibility during an interview with Grind City Media’s Michael Wallace, suggesting that the front office could explore trading the pick for a more favorable return.
