Day 7 of Arizona Football Practice: Recap for 2024 Spring
On a bright afternoon at Tomey Practice Field on Day 7, the Arizona Wildcats reached the halfway point of spring ball.
The Wildcats are still working on fine-tuning the details and playing the plays, both on offense and defense, nearly halfway into the spring season. Every athlete needs to take care of their bodies, and the coaching staff emphasized this. In order to ensure that players take advantage of every spring ball opportunity, this includes rest and rehabilitation after practice.
On the defensive side In order to put pressure on the opposing offense, coach Joe Seumalo highlighted the defensive line’s attacking mentality and desire to get into the backfield. Keanu Mailoto, Dominic Lolesio, and lineman Ta’ita’i Uiagalelei reiterated the point, saying it let them play freely and not necessarily think about too much while playing football.
Arizona Stadium will host the Red vs. Blue Spring Game on April 27 at 6 p.m. to cap off spring practice. The Pac-12 Network will carry the game.
After practice, Coach Seumalo, Uiagalelei, Mailoto, and Lolesio spoke with the media.
