While Emma Raducanu battled to maintain her fitness throughout 2023, her financial account was in good shape and she had made over $10 million in profits from her own business in the previous year.

The British tennis player was forced to end her campaign in mid-April due to injuries sustained while competing at the WTA 500 event in Stuttgart. Last season, she participated in just 10 matches, to be exact. Her winning money was barely slightly over $200,00

Raducanu had three surgeries total: one on her ankle, one on her wrist. She quickly began doing mild exercise before starting a protracted and difficult rehabilitation program in order to prepare for the 2024 season.

At first, Raducanu had planned to declare herself available for competition in Asian events in the fall. However, that proposal was abandoned. The 21-year-old was cautious about the possibility that pushing through her comeback would injure her body even more.

She practiced and increased her level of fitness throughout the second part of last year. Raducanu also made a trip to Shenyang, China, the hometown of her mother. She was traveling the world and paying tribute to the efforts of her sponsor

The winner of the 2021 US Open is a global marketing ambassador for well-known businesses in the UK, including British Airways and HSBC. Her glitzy way of living has also brought her endorsement contracts with Tiffany and Dior.

Thanks to her sponsorships, Raducanu amassed a wealth outside of tennis despite earning pitiful sums on the court. Raducanu is the only registered director of her firm, Harbour 6 Ltd, which had a profit of £9.6 million (about $11.8 million) in 2023, according on reports filed with Companies House in the United Kingdom.

The former World No. 10’s great commercial appeal was highlighted when she placed fourth among female athletes paid by Forbes last year, after Iga Swiatek, Eileen Gu, and Coco Gauff. In total, she made $15.2 million in income.
