St George Illawarra Dragons
Dragons’ Origin stars return just in time for a big test against the three-peat champions.
The Dragons’ Origin stars return just in time for a big test against the three-time champions, Penrith, at 2pm in Wollongong.
After being rested last week, captain Ben Hunt and star winger Zac Lomax are back in the Dragons’ lineup, replacing Jesse Marschke and Mikaele Ravalawa. Fullback Tyrell Sloan has been surprisingly dropped to the NSW Cup by coach Shane Flanagan.
Mat Feagai will start at fullback, despite his limited experience in the position, and Ray Faitala-Mariner returns from a back injury in the second row.
The Panthers are riding high after a golden point win last week, thanks to a two-point field goal by Nathan Cleary in his return from a hamstring injury. They also welcome back their Origin players Isaah Yeo, Brian To’o, Jarome Luai, and Liam Martin, who sat out last week’s game.
