Isco scored twice to equalize after Barcelona initially took a two-goal lead, but Barcelona managed to secure a 4-2 victory over Real Betis at the Estadio Benito Villamarin on Sunday evening. In the early stages, the visitors dominated the game, with Pedri controlling the tempo in the midfield. Despite Pedri missing a chance from inside the box 14 minutes into the match, Barcelona continued to pressurize Betis.

A well-executed team play orchestrated by Xavi Hernandez’s side led to Pedri setting up Ferran Torres, who capitalized from close range to give Barcelona the lead in the 21st minute. Lamine Yamal, a young talent, had an opportunity to extend Barcelona’s lead before halftime with a skillful individual move, but his curling shot hit the left post. Although Robert Lewandowski scored just before halftime, his goal was disallowed for offside, and Barcelona went into the break with a narrow lead.

Barcelona wasted no time increasing their advantage in the second half, with Torres scoring his second goal just three minutes in after a rebound from a Lamine Yamal cross that hit the woodwork.

Real Betis responded promptly, as Isco scored with a first-time strike in the 57th minute and later leveled the scores at 2-2 by receiving a lofted ball behind the defense and finding the back of the net in the 60th minute.

The game remained evenly poised, with opportunities for both teams. Vitor Roque missed a chance to score for Betis, and Luiz Henrique’s attempt went just wide after a skillful solo move.

As the match headed into added time, Joao Felix scored Barcelona’s third goal, securing the win for the team.
