Four-star defensive lineman Javeon Campbell is scheduled to make his announcement on 247Sports.

Javeon Campbell, the defensive lineman from Frankfort (Ky.) Western Hills, will reveal his college commitment on July 2nd at 11:30 am Eastern Time. The announcement will be broadcast on 247Sports’ YouTube Channel. Campbell’s final choices include Miami, Auburn, Kentucky, and Alabama.

While Alabama leads in the Crystal Ball predictions, Kentucky is aggressively pursuing the highly-rated in-state four-star recruit.

Javeon Campbell, standing at 6-5 and weighing 265 pounds, began playing football only in his junior year but quickly emerged as a standout with 14.5 sacks, catapulting him into national recruitment.

Western Hills head coach Simon VanderPool praised Campbell’s potential, noting his impressive combination of size, speed, and tenacity that sets him apart. VanderPool believes Campbell has a higher upside than most players he’s coached, with the potential even to play at the professional level. He emphasized Campbell’s strong character and supportive family background as key factors in his development.

Campbell visited his final four choices—Alabama, Miami, Auburn, and Kentucky—along with Georgia for official visits.
