Will the New York Giants embark on a rebuilding project soon?
There is an inference that can be made if you look past the actions the New York Giants took—or did not take—around the franchise tag deadline and all of the speculation about what they might do at quarterback this offseason.

The Giants may not have 2024 on their radar. They may be considering a long-term strategy. Head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen may be considering using the dreaded “R” word. Yes, rebuild, just in case I have to explain it to you.

Mike Onwenu of New England “would probably be my No. 1 target,” according to Art Stapleton. 6. The Giants of New York Odunze Rome, Washington, WR. Although the Giants’ receiving group has several complementary options, they do not currently have a WR1. Odunze might rapidly change that, as he has demonstrated the ability to play dominantly on the outside. He can outmaneuver coverage in a variety of ways and is sure-handed. He consistently hauled in passes in tight coverage, which contributed to his aggressive “my ball” approach that helped him tie for the most contested catches (24), in the FBS last season.

2024 NFL Draft: Fits for every NFC team in the early and late rounds | PFF
Fit in the Early Round: WR Malik Nabers; Fit in the Late Round: IOL Cooper Beebe

Nabers would be the Giants’ instant number one wide receiver because he can play both inside and outside the slot. The team needs a quality receiver to strengthen their passing attack. Additionally, they will want assistance on the inside of their offensive line. If Beebe is available early on Day 3, he might be a great fit for them because to his versatility and experience.
