Paris Saint-Germain is considering the search for an attacker to potentially replace Kylian Mbappé, whose contract expires in June amid rumors linking him to a move to Real Madrid. Viktor Gyökeres, who has been impressive at Sporting Lisbon, is reportedly on their radar.

The 25-year-old Swedish striker has garnered attention from top European clubs due to his stellar performances, boasting 32 goals and 11 assists in 35 matches across all competitions this season for the Portuguese team. PSG is among the clubs interested in acquiring Gyökeres.

However, PSG may face tough competition in their pursuit of the striker. AC Milan reportedly views Gyökeres as a backup option if they fail to secure a deal for Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee, according to reports from Calciomercato. Gyökeres has a release clause set at €100 million, which Milan finds challenging but not insurmountable. Nevertheless, they aren’t the only major club vying for the forward, as recent reports also suggest Arsenal’s interest in him.

Before PSG commits to pursuing Gyökeres, they must decide whether to part ways with Randal Kolo Muani or Gonçalo Ramos. This decision could influence their approach in the transfer market for attacking reinforcements.
