In partnership with the Branch Liaison Council, this year’s International Fans’ Day promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet. Supporters from countries such as Canada, New Zealand, and Tasmania have already confirmed their attendance, with many more expected to travel from the club’s 35 overseas branches.

Attendees will enjoy a tour of the Academy of Light on Friday morning and can celebrate their arrival in the North East at the SAFC Fans’ Museum, which will be open on matchday from 10am. Before the game, international visitors can soak up the atmosphere at the Beacon of Light Fan Zone and then take their seats for the main event. After the match, fans will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive post-match meet and greet with players and staff.

The matchday experience will culminate at Diego’s Joint in Sunniside, where BBC Radio Newcastle’s Nick Barnes and the Sunderland Echo’s Phil Smith will host a red and white talk-in.

Overseas branches and fans interested in attending International Fans’ Day are encouraged to register their interest with the Branch Liaison Council. Tickets for the fixture against Bristol City are also available for purchase, starting at £29 for adults and £12 for under 16s.
