Green Bay Packers: Star Player’s End Is Near With Recent Decision

The Green Bay Packers have been aiming to improve and growing younger over the off-season. Josh Jacobs will take Aaron Jones’ place going forward; this is a “wait and see” maneuver. But it’s reasonable to say that their defense will be significantly improved with the arrival of 24-year-old Safety Xavier McKinney.

The list is endless and includes Matthews, Corey Linsley, Bryan Bulaga, and Greg Jennings. Although David Bakhtiari only participated in 19 games because of injuries, Green Bay did award him a third contract.

Clark made his third appearance in the Pro Bowl in 2023, following his selection in 2021 and his injury in 2019. In 2018, he was also designated as an alternate. In 2023, Clark recorded a career-best 7.5 sacks (tied career high), nine tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, three passes defensed, and 16 quarterback hits (third on the team). He was second on the squad in 2023 with fifty Next Gen Stat QB pressures.

As 2024 approaches, the Packers may already be getting ready to lose standout defensive tackle Kenny Clark. Clark will be nine in 2024. Despite being a three-time Pro Bowler and having just finished what may have been his best season ever, Clark’s long-term future in Green Bay remains unknown.
