Four rising Hawks have been included in Hawthorn’s extended squad for their Round 16 match against West Coast at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Josh Ward, Finn Maginness, Harry Morrison, and Jai Serong, all of whom have shown strong form playing for Box Hill in the VFL, are in line to travel west to face the Eagles.

Veteran forward Luke Breust, aged 33, is the only omission, as he will be managed this weekend.

The Hawks aim to secure their fifth consecutive win following their bye in Round 15.

Hawthorn’s final team will be announced on Friday at 5 pm via hawthornfc.com.au.
