With several candidates still in the running, AC Milan plans to choose their next coach quickly to avoid the scenario extending into the summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan is nearing the end of Stefano Pioli’s tenure as coach, and everyone at the team is aware that a new individual will take over as head coach come 2024–2025.
Milan stands to lose nothing by continuing this coaching search well into the summer transfer window because the hiring of a new coach will affect a number of new players.

Milan will need to select a coach from a very extensive list if they hope to arrange an appointment anytime soon.

Although Sergio Conceicao is one of the favorites, he still needs to win crucial games for FC Porto before he can concentrate on the prospect of finding a new position. Lille and Marseille are pursuing Paulo Fonseca, a fellow Portuguese player.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic prefers Mark van Bommel, but names like Roberto Martinez and Domenico Tedesco have been brought up, and they both need to compete in Euro 2024.

Two coaches are connected in the Middle East and are traveling outside of Europe. Al Duhail could lose Christoph Galtier to Milan, while Marcelo Gallardo is an additional possibility.
