Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to reveal the next head coach of AC Milan on Thursday, according to a source indicating some big changes.

According to Sky and our confirmation, Milan’s press department has been disseminating information about a media briefing they hosted in anticipation of the upcoming season. Coincidentally, this briefing falls on the day that Fonseca is scheduled to arrive in Italy.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will give the opening address for the briefing at 11:40 a.m. CEST. After that, reporters and journalists are free to ask questions.
According to Sky, Ibrahimovic will make the formal statement on Thursday, June 13, indicating that the team has decided to go with Fonseca as their next head coach. A three-year contract worth €3.5 million net each season (two years with a third year option) is available for the Portuguese.

The Rossoneri are seeking to provide the former Lille and Porto coach with a substantial offensive boost in the meantime. The administration has decided that Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna will take Olivier Giroud’s position.

Milan, however, feels that Kia Joorobchian, his representative, is still requesting €15 million in commissions, which is excessive. As a result, the negotiations have reached a turning point where they must either approve a €55 million operation or proceed.
