We have observed the Kentucky Wildcats’ ability to shoot the ball from a distance during the entire season.

The Wildcats this year are among the top shooting teams in program history, according to the stats.

The skill of this Kentucky team’s deep ball shooters—Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham, and Antonio Reeves—was highlighted by @WildcatsTongue on X (Twitter). Together, they shoot 46.5% from beyond the arc.

There is some hope for this Kentucky team’s future since, as the post points out, the other teams had some really great tournament campaigns.

In terms of 3-point percentage in a single season, the trio of shooters is ranked among the top 10 in Kentucky basketball history.

The shooting ability of players like Tre Mitchell, who has shot the ball well for most of the season, or Zvonimir Ivisic, who has only played in 10 games but is 6/13 from deep, is also taken into consideration. The trio of Sheppard, Dillingham, and Reeves is deadly from beyond the arc.

Many fans have been clamoring for Kentucky to field a squad that made greater use of the 3-point shot over the past few years, and this bunch has most definitely done so. Let’s see if they can use that shooting prowess to make a run at the postseason.
