As Kansas City, Baltimore, Detroit, and San Francisco gear up for their conference championship games, the other 28 NFL teams shift their focus to free agency (starting March 13) and the NFL Draft, set for April 24-27 in Detroit. Over the last five years, each team likely wishes they could redo at least one draft pick. According to Yardbarker NFL writers, here are the most regrettable choices for every AFC team since 2018:

**AFC East:**

– **Buffalo Bills | OL Cody Ford (2019):** The Bills traded up for Ford, expecting him to be their right tackle, but after struggling, he was moved inside and eventually traded to Arizona.

– **Miami Dolphins | CB Noah Igbinoghene (2020):** Igbinoghene, a development project, proved to be a disappointing investment, leading to his trade to Dallas.

Worst draft pick for each AFC team since 2018

– **New York Jets | QB Sam Darnold (2018):** Despite the Jets’ current quarterback struggles, Darnold’s tenure fell short, and the team traded up for him over future All-Pro quarterbacks.

– **New England Patriots | WR N’Keal Harry (2019):** While passing on Lamar Jackson in 2018 may be a bigger regret, the Patriots’ recent worst selection is Harry, who was traded to the Bears after an injury-riddled stint in New England.

**AFC West:**

– **Denver Broncos | WR Jerry Jeudy (2020):** Jeudy, picked ahead of standout receivers, has yet to make a Pro Bowl, and there are rumors of the Broncos considering moving on from him.

Former Ole Miss star Breeland Speaks embracing opportunity with Michigan Panthers

– **Kansas City Chiefs | DE Breeland Speaks (2018):** Speaks disappointed in one season with the Chiefs, was waived in 2020, and struggled to find a place in the NFL afterward.

Alex Leatherwood come out his stance versus Ohio State at CFP title game

– **Las Vegas Raiders | OL Alex Leatherwood (2021):** Despite optimism from the Raiders, Leatherwood’s performance led to his release after just one season.

Quentin Johnston - Football - TCU Athletics

– **Los Angeles Chargers | WR Quentin Johnston (2023):** Johnston, the 21st overall pick, struggled with only two receiving TDs in 17 games, raising questions about the Chargers passing on other available receivers.

Rashod Bateman fantasy football start/sit advice: What to do with Ravens WR in Week 13 - DraftKings Network

**AFC North:**

– **Baltimore Ravens | WR Rashod Bateman (2021):** Bateman, chosen ahead of other available wide receivers, has yet to make a significant impact for the Ravens.

– **Cleveland Browns | QB Baker Mayfield (2018):** Mayfield, while talented, didn’t live up to expectations, and the Browns might have avoided headaches by selecting Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson in 2018.

– **Cincinnati Bengals | TE Drew Sample (2019):** The Bengals’ 2019 second-round pick, Sample, hasn’t lived up to expectations, especially considering the talented players they passed up.

– **Pittsburgh Steelers | LB Devin Bush (2019):** Bush, acquired with a significant trade, had a promising rookie season but struggled after a torn ACL, ending up as a backup in Seattle.

**AFC South:**

– **Houston Texans | CB Lonnie Johnson Jr. (2019):** The Texans cut ties with Johnson Jr. after three years, and his performance fell short of expectations.

– **Indianapolis Colts | DE Ben Banogu (2019):** Banogu’s four-year run with the Colts was forgettable, with minimal production and missed opportunities to select more successful players.

– **Jacksonville Jaguars | DT Taven Bryan (2018):** Bryan, taken in the 2018 draft, lasted only three seasons with the Jaguars, failing to make a significant impact.

– **Tennessee Titans | OT Isaiah Wilson (2020):** Wilson, the 29th overall pick, turned out to be a colossal bust, facing legal issues and contributing minimally on the field before being released by the Titans.
