INJURY NEWS: Stoke City legend Nathan Lowe has been sidelined due to injury and is not expected to return until the end of the season.
David Okagbue, who has been performing well on loan from Stoke City, opened his goal-scoring account in Walsall’s 2-1 comeback win against Accrington Stanley. The defender’s clinical header from Isaac Hutchinson’s corner equalized the score on the hour mark, before Emmanuel Adegboyega secured the winning goal five minutes from time.
This goal not only marked Okagbue’s first in the EFL but also in his career. The Republic of Ireland under-19 international is eager to continue finding the back of the net and aims to add more goals to his tally.
