In the final moments of the Utah Jazz’s 119-117 loss to the Chicago Bulls, a scuffle erupted following Collin Sexton’s intentional foul on DeMar DeRozan. Bulls forward Torrey Craig, despite not being on the active roster, exchanged words with Sexton, escalating tensions. Jazz center John Collins stepped in, aiming to defuse the situation, but matters intensified when Bulls assistant coach Chris Fleming seemingly pushed Collins, prompting a reaction from him.

After the heartbreaking loss to the Bulls, Collins shared his perspective on the altercation with Fleming, stating he was merely defending himself after the coach initiated physical contact. Reviewing the footage, it appeared that Fleming made the initial contact with Collins, who retaliated by pushing back. However, Collins’s response was not without fault, as he also engaged in the altercation, and his raised hands could have posed a risk.

Despite the incident, the Jazz must move on from the defeat and focus on upcoming games. Collins, particularly, has an opportunity to showcase his value to the team, especially considering their current frontcourt challenges.
