It appears that Crynsecio Summerville, the 22-year-old winger for Leeds United, may be a major doubt for an upcoming match due to a swollen ankle. According to Daniel Farke, the Leeds manager, Summerville has missed “too many training sessions” in recent weeks, leading to concerns about his availability.

Summerville has been a standout performer for Leeds this season, contributing significantly with 15 goals and eight assists in the Championship. However, Farke acknowledges that playing week in and week out has been a new experience for Summerville, and adjusting to the physical demands of a long season, including managing injuries, is part of the learning process for the young player.

Farke also mentioned that Summerville hasn’t been training properly recently, which has affected his rhythm and performance. This adds to the uncertainty surrounding his availability for the upcoming match.

In addition to Summerville, other key players such as Patrick Bamford, Georginio Rutter, and Dan James are also doubtful for the game, further complicating Farke’s team selection and preparations.

Despite the challenges, Leeds United may need to prioritize their league campaign over other competitions, considering the tight competition and the need to secure points to close the gap with teams at the top of the table.
