Jakob Poeltl will play against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, according to the Toronto Raptors.
After suffering a left ankle injury on Monday night, the Toronto Raptors’ starting center will be available for the team’s game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

Poeltl took part in the Wednesday afternoon shootaround and showed no signs of restriction.

Due to a severe left ankle sprain earlier this year, the 28-year-old center missed 11 games. Without a dependable backup center to cover for him, Toronto struggled to a 2-9 record during that time.

Dallas is anticipated to play at almost full strength because Derek Lively II, Dante Exum, and Luka Doncic are all considered likely. Maxi Kleber has a dubious rating.

Luka Doncic, who is 25 years old, plays with the Raptors, saying, “It’s on his terms.”

Following Doncic’s impressive triple-double at Scotiabank Arena, Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic remarked, “There is nothing that he doesn’t have in terms of basketball.”

It’s hard to argue that Luka Doncic is the athletic, chiseled NBA template who will lead the sport into the next generation since he ambles rather than sprints.

He is a genius at the game, and although some may argue he is actually 35 years old, he turned 25 on Wednesday. Anyone who isn’t experiencing it is losing out on something truly unique.

In an incredibly humble display of skill, Doncic destroyed the Raptors on his birthday, finishing with 30 points, 16 assists, and 11 rebounds to help the Dallas Mavericks defeat them 136-125 at Scotiabank Arena.
