In the most recent Nuggets victory over the Trail Blazers, Michael Porter Jr. was at the peak of his dominance.

The Denver Nuggets, the defending NBA champions, appeared lethargic and injured heading into the All-Star Break. Now that the break is over, the Nuggets appear revitalized and prepared to continue their winning ways into the postseason. Thanks to some outstanding performances from Michael Porter Jr., the Nuggets have defeated the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards in both of their meetings since returning from vacation.

Porter may have had the best game in Denver’s 127-112 victory over the Trail Blazers on Friday night, as he scored 34 points, pulled down 12 rebounds, and dished out an assist, all while Nikola Jokic had yet another triple-double. Porter had a double-double for the second straight night on Thursday against the Wizards, scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Over the past several games, Porter has shown that he is remarkably at ease when shooting. The timing of the All-Star Break was perfect, and it greatly aided in his relaxation and recuperation.

According to AltitudeTV, Michael Porter Jr. stated, “Yeah, I needed it.” “Tried to participate in as many games as I could in the preseason. Developing a routine during the remaining games before the playoffs is my current objective.

One of the league’s most potent scorers when he finds his game, Porter can be. The Trail Blazers were burnt all night long by this, something they neglected to consider.

Bennett Durando of the Denver Post said that Nuggets head coach Michael Malone stated, “Michael is such a big target, and (defenders) play on the high side, so they’re trying to make him a 2-point scorer.” “And he’s demonstrated that he can score from three just as effectively by doing that.” Michael performed admirably throughout the entire game on this particular night.

When Porter is performing at this level, Denver is at their best, so it’s good to see him come back from the All-Star break with such conviction. The gifted shooter will have an opportunity to continue his recent winning run on Sunday night when the Nuggets play the Golden State Warriors.
